1 Down 5 To Go!

And she is off!  New uniform, backpack and lunch bag rounded out the morning!  Gabrielle even hitched a ride to school with a friend.....as a first grader.....should I be worried?  Sitting at a new lunch table was going to be the highlight of the day for her, or so she told Brian.  Look out first grade, Gabrielle is on her way!

Starting over!

Nate and Gabs and The Stroller May 2005

So I decided to give this blog another attempt, probably because I have oodles of free time!

So with School starting, Sam working on nursing and tons of other "exciting" things I know that there will be mounds of fun things to share. My goal is at least one picture a day...maybe a caption too-

Ready....Set....GO!

Monday!!!

NICU nurses say 6am & 8am feeding....you say OK!
Monday Morning Feeding at 8am gets you:
1Broken double stroller
2 Skinned knees
3 Heart Rate drops
4 Attempts at latching
5 Kids mad at you because you have to walk BACK home, since you left the left the keys on the counter and the car is parked in the St. Mary's parking ramp.

Trying to nurse Sam with a never ending supply of hands to rub his head, Sadie trying to force a "mee mee" (blanket) on him, tripping over cords, trying to be quiet in the NICU, Fighting over who pushes the elevator buttons, thankful no Gatorade spilled, washing 10 hands with surgical soap, wishing the "private room" didn't have glass doors......Priceless......Right?
The picture at the top is a tribute to the faithful stroller that served us well through poop, puke and pee. Thank you for the good times and the wet times. I guess we should have understood that Max Capacity 2, didn't mean everyone.
