He is laughin'

I just made our first reservation at a Camp Ground for Friday night this is how the phone call went down:

Kansas Guy: Hello, KOA JellyStone Something or other.
Me: Hey I wanted to see about getting a camp site for Friday.  Do you have late check in, like 11:30pm?
Kansas Guy: Yup we do late check ins.  You just need a reservation.
Me: Ok can I make a reservation.
Kansas Guy: yup.....pause..........
Me: Can I do that now or would there be a better time?
Kansas Guy: Now is fine.

Some portions have been deleted to speed up the process.....

Kansas Guy: What kind of site do you want.
Me: A Campsite......
Kansas Guy: Do you want a dump site?
Me: probably not...wait, no, something with water and electrical.
Kansas Guy: hmmm I will just give you the whole deal.  Don't worry it is only $1 more.
Me: Good enough.

Me: so when we get there what how should we check in, since the office will be closed?
Kansas Guy: Well now that you have your reservation you'll be fine.  PAUSE...........
Me: So how do we know which site is ours?
Kansas Guy: Oh yeah, there is a Map with a Star on it!
Me: ok thanks!
Kansas Guy: See you Friday then.

Now just to figure out where this "Map" is!  :)

It can only get better right?  I am sure he is still laughing with his buddies about my call.  Well at least Brian and I are still laughing about it.

SAM GROWS!

Yup, here you should see that Sam is growing!  The picture is from last night- it is Sam in the outfit that he wore home from the hospital.  The outfit was given to him by his girly friend Avery.  Thank goodness for Avery.  Sam was let out of the hospital on such short notice, without that outfit Sam would have gone home naked.  When Sam wore it home from the hospital, his feet didn't even reach the toes and we had to roll the sleeves up.  Now is fills it out just fine!  Next to Sam is one of the two preemie outfits that Sam wore in the hospital.

This is Sam when he came home from the hospital!  You can see the outfit barely fits...sleeves rolled up and no legs!

Ahhhh this one is just for those who recently told me....If I didn't know you I would think you were a bad mom!  HA HA!  Here is to more laughs and my constant efforts to be a "good" mom!  I hope these keep you laughing that this isn't your life!

Big helpers!

Yup- I have missed alot of days as far as trying to post a picture a day.  Our house I think is insanity everyday.  Luckily I have big helpers!  As you can see the picture above is all the plants that used to be on our porch.  Personally I was going to let them die with the cold this winter.  I figured it was one less thing I needed to care for.  My mom however thought we should bring them in to save them!  BRIGHT IDEA MOM!  Hopefully I can keep them alive.  Then today I was blessed to have Sadie help me.  She was kind enough to label all of them with a blue sharpie marker!  Thanks Sadie!  Now I won't forget which is which!  She was even kind enough to label the radiator cover as to wear the next plant should sit!  Glad I can check that task off my to do list!
