Sadie folding laundry-

These pictures are a series of when happened WHEN........I came back to finish folding landry Sadie had taken my spot and was "folding" socks.  When she saw me taking her picture, she brought the socks to show me.  As she got closer she started to throw all of the socks and laugh about it.  Some days I feel like 1 step forward 2 steps back and 3 socks that don't match anything!

Really- that girl is just too cute....too smart..too loud...too clever...too independant...too confident...too helpful...not too much for Sadie though!  Today at naptime I found her laying in her bed with stickers all over her face.  When I asked her how it happened or where she got them she just layed there.  She acted as though she had no idea what I was talking about as I peeled 20 of them off her face! 

Side note- In the back of the first couple pictures you can see I finished the Kindergarten Quilt for the School Carnival Auction!  WOOO HOOO!  I am in love with it.  I sure hope it goes for a bunch of money...otherwise I will feel bad I didn't win it.  Maybe I will post a better picture of it some day.

Another go at the web cam.I haven't posted much lately because I was tied up and held captive by Sadie.  No worries, I am fine!  :)

Lucia had her tonsils out yesterday.  She is doing great, all considering.  I will try and post some pictures of her tomorrow.  Until then you can enjoy a quick snap shot of Sam and me!

Seize the day....or maybe not.

 

Yesterday we accomplished a lot....well maybe not.  Hair cuts for everyone that would hold still.  Above is the winner of the "happy outlook" on his hair cut and below is the winner of the "happiest going into the hair cut and the saddest to leave".  Nate was very excited to get his hair cut until he noticed his golden locks were on the floor.  There is a little girl on the school bus (Isabelle) who loves to touch Nate's "Gorgeous hair".  I cheered him up by saying, she is really going to like it now, it feels so soft!  Brian on the other hand, there was no consoling him, even though I tell him how much I like it.  Guess he doesn't value my opinion as much as Nate values Isabelle's!  Now I just need to figure out who Isabelle is- any help?  She rides bus 24.

Less than a minute after Lucia walked out the door to school, Lukas had cracked open the makeup case!  For Lucia's birthday she got a make-up case stuffed full of polish, brushes, applicators of all sorts, candy, lip gloss and wild colored eye shadow. Lukas LOVES it too!

Banana Bread

Sadie, now that girl is so resourceful.  She thought this loaf of banana bread from Nana also made a good pencil holder.  Nana always thinks Sadie is so amazingly wonderful.....now what do you think of her?

Belated Birthday Sadie-

Happy 2s!  OR Maybe I should say, attitude twos!  Sadie is in love with shopping carts so that is what she got for her birthday on March 3!  As you can see from the photos she is LOVIN' that cart!  First picture is of her throwing an ice cream cone (also a birthday present) in her cart....she is such a courteous shopper.

This is Sadie flinging the cart as she runs at me for taking her picture.  Good thing the cart is made of metal and can take a beating.............NO PAPARAZZI!

FORGOT TO MENTION: Sadie loves tights but sees no purpose for skirts or dresses.  I think they just slow her down....what Sadie doesn't want....don't speak of or she might hit ya and scream at you!

LIFE-

I am sorry I haven't posted a photo in a while.....LIFE!  Camera died and I didn't have any good photos saved to post.  Today, I am stealing a photo Natalie sent me for Sadie.  This morning Sadie pitched one of the biggest fits ever at Hy-vee.  It all started over one of those little baby shopping carts.  We were in Hy-vee for a total of finve minutes yet Sadie managed to

• Tip over a cart
• Throw a cookie from the bakery
• Spill a pint of blueberries
• Scream continuously
• Throw 2 shoes
• Throw both socks
• Scream for a sucker at the checkout
• Make me drive up for one item! (a birthday cake for Lucia)
• Scream the whole way home......all because she wanted to push the baby shopping cart and eat a cookie at the same time!  Ahhhhh right now baby shopping carts seem like a necessary evil!  Thanks for the picture Natalie.



SADIE!

Sweet Sadie was so excited about her new birthday pop up tent from Grandma and Poppy Willaert that she decided to decorate it more herself.......Grandma and poppy.....I am so sorry, please know she is sooo proud of her coloring. She thinks it is great and doesn't understand why I am so upset about it.  She kept pointing at it and telling me "beauty momma beauty".  I honestly think she has a future in graffiti and tattooing!  I guess Ariel and Snow White are her favorite.

I made her (try) and wash it off.....she is feeling a little remorseful now.  Your appology note will be in the mail today!  I think she gets her stuborness from her father.
