Summer buzz cut anyone? All the boys (except for Brian) got summer hair cuts in the driveway last night. Sand just washes out of short hair sooo much easier! Bring on summer we are ready.

sisterly love-
Brian escaped the make-over but he left Sam to be had by the girls! I always think this is good conditioning and help make Sam a better daddy and husband in the end!

Fashionista Part II
Another one of a kind creation by designer Lucia. I know her future in clothing is bright. These outfits make me sooo excited for her to start wearing her uniform and see the creativity flow like lemonade! Yes, the purse does say "FLORIDA".

one more Sam!
Sam still isn't mobile but I wanted to show you how hard he is trying to roll over.
That is as far as Sam got. He never did roll over but I did shift the toy a bit closer for him to reach. Brian has a new favorite song/video. It is called the Lazy Song, Bruno Mars. Sometimes I am afraid it might be the soundtrack for Sam's laziness.

way to go daddy!
I know the picture is hard to see BUT it is Brian's report card for this last Spring Semester! A-!!!! Way to go Brian! Only two years left till you have your Masters in Computer Nerdism! Hard to believe that Sam will be turning 3 when you graduate. Do you think we will make it? So proud of you! Love you! Your biggest fan, Mo
Quote of the day-
As I think about next year and having Lucia go to school I start to wonder who I will talk to all day! My answer- Lukas. So I was quite worried about this fact although my feelings have been starting to change. As you will see from the "quote of the day" there is hope, my days next year might be more exciting that I first thought!
Setting the scene- Lukas, and Lucia and I were looking at the family picture at the bottom of the blog.
Lukas- "there we all are"
Me "no Sam though"
Lucia "well that is because we didn't have Sam then"
Lukas "yeah, that is when Sadie was a baby. That is when she was nice."
Check mate my friend, two points for Lukas.

Fashionista
What is the fashionista wearing to the bus stop as summer approaches?
Well today Lucia was strutting the red flirty mini dress with plaid shorts, topped off with clear banded high heels with a purple flower. I keep trying to explain why she can't wear those shoes in public but none of my reason hold up against her debate.
Can't wait to see the twist she will put on her Catholic School uniform!

Samuel
Enjoy this picture of Samuel- I am going to be posting pictures of the other monsters around here as they are all coming into epic moment's in life- Graduating kindergarten, moving on to 2nd grade, being kicked out of preschool and turning 4! Sadie- she will just keep being Sadie! Maybe by the time I post another picture of Sam he will be mobile, probably not though.

Future Reference for Samuel's Spouse-
Future reference for Sam's spouse- Sam LOVES LOVES LOVES his feet and hands rubbed with a warm wash cloth. Brian video taped it a few nights ago. In the video Samuel is VERY horse sounding. It is due to bad acid reflux which we just started treating. He is already improving. He doesn't sound as horse and he is coughing less.

I know you all love my "side notes" Here is another....as most of you know our house is for sale. Sadly, the house we really liked and have stayed up late talking about where we would put the Christmas tree in the "new house" sold. Tonight, we drove by it and yup- SOLD was hanging from the bottom of the sign. We are sure God has the right house out there, we just feel bad He didn't know we like this one! Oh well- time to find a new answer to our prayers. Now with nothing fitting our "non-picky" criteria we are feeling a bit lost. Maybe we are already in the perfect house for us? sigh- what to do from here?

when ya got to go-
Today is just a simple life lesson my kids have taught me so I am passing it on to you....underpants are over rated and life is much easier without them! And sometimes you deserve the treat before the work. As you can see by the chocolate on her face, this time the reward was before the potty. Shirts can be worn which ever way you like, even if it mean everyone sees the bow and embroidery as you walk away. Bonus note about the picture is hot water heat register doubles as a foot stool and toilet paper holder makes a good handle!
I am currently TRYING to upload a video of Sam so you might want to check back later to see if I got it to work!

Big brother Nate
Nate was sitting by Sam on the couch the other morning before school. Sam rested his head on Nate. Nate was so proud I had to run and get the camera. When I came back Nate had arranged Sam for the picture below. The funny part of the picture is that Sam's head looks as big as Nate's! HA The kids have two weeks left of school! I can't believe it! Look out St. Pius- Next year Willaerts will be in 2nd, 1st and Kindergarten! WOOO HOOOO!
Sam's ultimate betrayal
Last night Sam was up 3 times. Who knows for what reason, probably lonely. After crying for a bit early this morning I got him and put him in bed with us. He was chewing on his bottle and blabbering away when it happened. Sam said his first word. When I heard it I swore and Brian laughed. We both heard it so clear. The kid who I used to get up and go see at the hospital at 5am every morning only to come home and feed the others to go back and feed Sam again. The child for whom I made numerous trips to the hospital daily from 5am till 11pm for weeks on end.....the kid who won't let me out of his sight's first word- Dada! AHHHH I can't believe it. Oh well- :) So I don't remember EVERYONE's first words but here is a quick recap of what I do remember-
Gabrielle- I think it was Ball but not positive since she spoke Chinese.
Nate- Jesus
Lucia- "where were you, I poop my pants"
Lukas- Hi
Sadie- Shut it
Sam- Dada

life as usual
So this picture is from a few days ago- probably a couple weeks now....Sadie helped herself to snack, she made it herself so I should be proud. The snack consisted of 3 pounds of cheese and a few chocolate Easter eggs. Personally, I have never seen 3 pounds of shredded cheese go as far as Sadie managed to spread it. I was honestly quite impressed with her work. Again, my method for cleaning up shredded cheese is to let it dry out a bit and then sweep it right up. With the 3 pounds of cheese Sadie managed to fill every cup from the kitchen set and bowl and plate with cheese.

I'm back-
So back to blogging..... we have the house ready to go now for THE showing....now just to have someone call and say they wanna see it! Well as ready as it can be! Brian finished the steps the other night so Yee HA! Here is a picture of the final product!
On a final note- Sadie found the curtain below after I had washed it. She was positive it was nana's shirt. Kind of funny Sadie thinks that our curtains looks like something Nana would wear- I know my mom likes the "sound of music" but really, Sadie?

What mud?
What? Why have the amazing posts stopped? Hmmm well- Life just caught up to us and Sadie rules the roost. Brian finished up his class for the semester! SUMMER VACCATION! We also were wrapping up the process of a possible addition and roof repair to the house when Brian thought he would take one more look at houses for sale in Roch.....

Yup- The Willaert pad is up for grabs!! We don't have a place to go and nor are we desprate to move. I guess we are just feeling out the waters of what it is like to have a house for sale. Brian and I were both raised in one house (not together) but neither of our families ever moved while growing up. We each moved throughout our college years but have lived here ever since we tied the knot! This summer we will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary! Hard to believe....we still see ourselves as newlyweds....... still wondering how we ever got to where we are. We love our house but it is hard to have 3 kids in each bedroom. We are being a bit picky about location since we still want the kids on St. Pius bussing and are determined to make our one kidnapper van family still funtion. So prayers are welcome. Not nessisarily prayers for a fast sale- just for prayers that God has a great plan for us and that He has the perfect house for us in the, ok maybe for a fast sale. I don't know how I can keep a house ready to show with Sadie running around this place.
Otherwise we are doing well. School is starting to wrap up for the kids. Sam is growing bigger, still no rolling. Sadie is potty trained and loves to have an audience. When she is done she yells at you "cap hands! CAP HANDS!" If you don't clap your hands for her....death! Sadie has even managed to be dry over night, I know it is too good to last.
Back to life....I promise to get our camera fixed and pictures posted.

Morning ritual
This is the morning ritual everyday. (sorry it is a dat bit blurry.)
Everyone has a blankie and is learning a new game on DS before breakfast.
Sadly, Nate managed to get all his things done and out the door to the bus, only to have school call me at 9:02....the bus drops them off on the playground about 8:40-8:50. At 8:50 everyone goes inside and 9am school starts. I figured 9:02 wouldn't get school calling....not enough time to throw a pancake or get into other trouble. Nate managed to run into another child and fall down smacking his head on the black top. They didn't think it was bad however they felt I "should come and look at it". After a once over at our favorite ER in town- heck favorite ER anywhere we left with a "nice bleeding hematoma to the back of Nate's head" and headed home. Nate was cleared to go back to school but the kids had eaten his cold lunch while we waited at the ER. There was no hot lunch at school today due to funeral, so today was a mental health day for Nate and a fun day for Lukas to have his brother home....anyone is more exciting than Sadie these days.

post? What?
So I have no picture to post....
- Sam has had double ear infection and been very sad. Today was the first day he was happy again. What a change to have happy Sam back.
- Sadie only pee/poops on the potty when it is to her liking and her idea. Friday she was dry all day, then we went to school for pick-up. We stopped in to chat with Nate's teacher. We were there for less than 3 mins. and Sadie peed on the kindergarten floor! Mrs. Gardener had a good laugh and borrowed us extra clothes for the ride home.
- Lukas is all about racing and wrestling Sadie.
- Lucia and Gabs dressed all up for the girl scout disco party- pictures will follow....some day. Nate and Lukas even sported some vests!
- Brian is wrapping up a presentation and paper for tomorrow's class and then a final next week! It will be good to have his classed done!
- I will try and post a picture tomorrow!
