20/20 or even a bit better!

After going to "preschool screaming" as the kids call it, the screener thought that Lukas' eyes didn't track together.  She thought maybe one lazy eye.  I was surprised, I have NEVER noticed it before.  I ended up setting up an eye exam to make sure I had not missed it.  So after a very long 90 min. appointment Lukas walked out with sun glass, sucker and amazing vision.

today....stomp on toys day.

Today turned out to be one of those days you just wanna step on your favorite toy.  At the grocery store while Sadie was pitching her typical "hy-vee" fit.  With a smile, I asked a produce guy if he could just growl at her or give her a mad face.  His reply, "I could get her a cookie or balloon".  My response- "Noooo".  I said it in a tone as, really?  You got to be kidding me- a balloon reward for this?  HA!

Although Sadie keeps me hopin' and keeps outings exciting like when in her usually loud and clearly understandable English, she asked me (at TJ  Max in front of several grandma type ladies) "Mom, you like old ladies?"  At those times, I am thankful for Sam and Lukas who very much take after their father and his "Yup, that too shall pass" personality!

Non-uniform day!

The first Friday of the month is non uniform day.  Usually the kids are suggested to wear a certain color for an upcoming holiday or event.  I THOUGHT I had read that September's non uniform day was Lourdes colors for homecoming.  The kids looked MARVELOUS!  Luckily, I was wrong and it wasn't any color day....LOURDES colors are to be worn THIS coming Friday as an extra out of uniform treat!  Good thing the kids don't know I goofed!  Well this is what they looked like on the first Friday in September and this is what they will look like on this next Friday in September!
Sam- typical Willaert boy, play with sticks at the bus stop!  Sadie and Lukas both packed lunches to get on the bus too!

Thank you for the stickers!

These pictures are of some stickers we received from Aunt Natalie who got them from a friend at work.  We finally got to post some pictures as a Thank you to Natalie's friend for the amazingly awesome stickers.  The stickers are about the size of the kids' heads.  They look VERY official and important.  One sticker ended up on the living room wall which has now been removed.  One ended up on the girls door.  As you can see from the picture they followed my rule of sticking stickers on paper then to the wall....rather than straight on the wall.  The writing on the paper says something about no boys allowed just girls and mom and dad and you can come in if you ask and....it goes on and on.

The boys stuck one sticker on their bed.  They never remember the rule of sticking stickers on paper first.  They stuck it straight on the bed...and there it will stay.  They feel very important.  This picture is also like find waldo, find Sadie.  She had just gotten out of the bath and wanted a picture of her "doing this".  Sorry this picture got slightly fuzzy....

Sam goes up...

Sam is now a pro at going UP stairs, now just to either learn how to go down or make up his mind.  He seems to crawl up the stairs and then suddenly realize he really wants to be at the bottom of them.  When we help him down he turns around and heads right back up the steps only to change his mind when he reaches to the top!  Last night I thought Brian had Sam.... Brian thought Sam was with me.  We found him 1/2 way up the stairs to the upstairs!  He must have been headed to bed!  Silly Sam!
