First Communion! Gabby's excitement and joy for the big day made me remember what an amazing gift we are given each time at Mass.

NOT pratical....
that is what single strollers are. Sam and I tried out the new wheels last night. 2 miles later we both survived. The "plan" is for the two of us to put in a couple miles on T/TH when Sadie is at preschool and Lukas is at speech this fall. We will have 30 mins to roll the school Lukas attends speech at. Thanks to my hard-workin' hubby who humors me and my stroller addiction and supports me and my efforts to get back to my "get back to running" AGAIN. Even though this rolls slick and smooth it is definitely a workout in itself.
Single stroller....never did I think we would purchase another. Did I mention I got this stroller at 50% off? :)

already missin' days.
Maybe this is why I am missing post already?! Today I learned two things and possibly a third which is still being evaluated. First, I need better vacuum. Second I need a better broom and dust pan. And Thirdly, (the one thing I am still considering before calling it truth) we might not actually EAT as much cereal as I thought. This was the second box Sam managed to spread out. The first box was in the living room....while I was cleaning it up I guess he was still hungry and took it into his own hands.

The first and definitly NOT the last-
Today's fabulous weather brought lots of playing in the yard and yard work! It also brought the season first scrapes from sidewalks for Sam. This is going to be another year of trying to get a little one to understand why the very attractive street is not the goal destination! Sam is so quick it is hard to imagine that once he was "delayed" in gross motor skills...Makes me reconsider all my prayers for him to speak, since all my prayers for him to walk have turned him in to a sprinter...and a silent sprinter at that.
Sam took the first tumble on to the sidewalk. Luckily he jumped right back up to only take another digger an hour later and scraped up his elbow and forearm. Summer? In March?

St. Patrick's non uniform.
So back to the blog I go. It struck me the other day as a friend posted on FB that her first daughter had gotten her 2nd tooth. The post was so cute....sadly, I think I can only tell you when Gabby, Nate and Lucia got teeth. I know Gabby and Nate's because I have books with that information written down in it....Lucia I know cause her's were shockingly early....3 months. The other kids I haven't got a clue. I will lie to them when they are older and ask. SOO my slackerness as a mother has led to no baby books or amazingly beautiful scrapbooks...or photo albums like I had just files of unprinted pictures on this computer. I am going to attempt again to keep one picture a day.....as their JOINT scrapbook/alubm/babybook.
Today was non-uniform day for St. Patrick's day.
The zip-up has a satin hood which as she inspected was the bling that gave the final go ahead and approval for sporting today at school.
Nice $ necklace Nate. I didn't even say NO, I figured I would let Mrs. Smith make him take it off!
Daddy never disappoints.
GAbby didn't want her photo taken but I got it anyways.

Let's just be glad it is a clean shirt and pants for this one.
