Summer

Summer buzz cut anyone?  All the boys (except for Brian) got summer hair cuts in the driveway last night.  Sand just washes out of short hair sooo much easier!  Bring on summer we are ready.

Brian escaped the make-over but he left Sam to be had by the girls!  I always think this is good conditioning and help make Sam a better daddy and husband in the end!

Fashionista Part II

Another one of a kind creation by designer Lucia.  I know her future in clothing is bright.  These outfits make me sooo excited for her to start wearing her uniform and see the creativity flow like lemonade! Yes, the purse does say "FLORIDA".

Sam still isn't mobile but I wanted to show you how hard he is trying to roll over.

That is as far as Sam got.  He never did roll over but I did shift the toy a bit closer for him to reach.  Brian has a new favorite song/video.  It is called the Lazy Song, Bruno Mars.  Sometimes I am afraid it might be the soundtrack for Sam's laziness.

I know the picture is hard to see BUT it is Brian's report card for this last Spring Semester!  A-!!!! Way to go Brian! Only two years left till you have your Masters in Computer Nerdism!  Hard to believe that Sam will be turning 3 when you graduate.  Do you think we will make it?  So proud of you!  Love you! As I think about next year and having Lucia go to school I start to wonder who I will talk to all day!  My answer- Lukas.  So I was quite worried about this fact although my feelings have been starting to change.  As you will see from the "quote of the day" there is hope, my days next year might be more exciting that I first thought!

Setting the scene- Lukas, and Lucia and I were looking at the family picture at the bottom of the blog.
Lukas- "there we all are"
Me "no Sam though"
Lucia "well that is because we didn't have Sam then"
Lukas "yeah, that is when Sadie was a baby.  That is when she was nice."

What is the fashionista wearing to the bus stop as summer approaches?

Well today Lucia was strutting the red flirty mini dress with plaid shorts, topped off with clear banded high heels with a purple flower. I keep trying to explain why she can't wear those shoes in public but none of my reason hold up against her debate.

Can't wait to see the twist she will put on her Catholic School uniform!
